Doug Elias
Doug is a local boy who was was born and raised in Abbotsford, moved across the bridge to Mission in 1990. Doug is a Correctional Officer by day, fishing fanatic on weekends and days off. His family and fishing are his true passions spending most of his days off on the water with his new wife Angel and kids.
Doug started his fishing career fly fishing local and interior lakes, taking courses from some of British Columbia's top fly fishing instructors like Kevin Longard, Phil Rowley and Gord Honey. Soon Doug was spending many hours learning the art of tying flies and fishing still waters. Over the last 5 years Doug has discovered the world of jet boating and the endless adventures of fishing the Fraser River and its tributaries. Sturgeon fishing has now become a favorite pass time on his days off, however still water fishing is still his passion.
